Solar® DNA/RNA/Protein Isolation Kit is designed to purify total RNA and genomic DNA simultaneously from a single biological sample source.  Up to 100 μg of total RNA and DNA can be isolated from cultured eukaryotic cells and tissues. The kit allows single or multiple, simultaneous processing of samples in less than 30 min.  Normally, 1 x 106 - 1 x 107 eukaryotic cells, or 20-30 mg tissue can be used in a single experiment. There is no need for phenol/chloroform extractions, and time-consuming steps such as CsCl gradient ultracentrifugation, and precipitation with isopropanol or LiCl, are eliminated. RNA purified using the this method is ready for applications such as RT-PCR*, Northern blotting, poly A+ RNA (mRNA) purification, nuclease protection, and in vitro translation. DNA
